OUR FARM SHOP AND KITCHEN

Our Farm Shop is at the very heart of our family run, farm business which started when we moved to South Brockwells with our parents, back in 1976.  Open every Wednesday to Sunday from  9 am to 5 pm (10 am to 3 pm on Sundays) and daily during the asparagus season (May and June).

 

We have recently opened South Brockwell's Farm Kitchen. Each Saturday and Sunday we offer hot food from

10 am - 2 pm where Angie, our professional chef, creates mouthwatering dishes showcasing our home grown produce and local wild game. The South Brockwells steak sandwich (venison or beef), our home smoked salmon with free range duck eggs on Sussex Kitchen's sourdough and Angie's pan seared venison steak with mushrooms, cream and balsamic are all firm favourites. Hot sausage rolls, soup, homemade cake and freshly ground coffee is available every Wednesday to Friday from 9 am.  We have created a cosy indoor seating area at the front of the shop so why not pay us a visit! 

Each spring we offer our freshly cut delicious Sussex Asparagus alongside homegrown free-range pork, lamb and goat meat. Throughout the summer our polytunnel and veg patch come to life providing the family and the farm shop with a variety of fresh seasonal goodies. As the autumn draws near heralding the start of the game season, our much sought after, oven ready game wild meats will come into the farm shop. We source our game from local estates across East Sussex and butcher it here on the farm. Frozen game is available throughout the year.  

We stock a selection of goods sourced from other local farms and producers too, including everyday essentials such as milk, bread, pies, cakes, sauces, preserves and ice cream. We also provide advice and delicious recipes for our produce, including regular tasting days so you can create some mouthwatering dishes using fresh, seasonal and natural ingredients.

Seasonal specials are regularly available, so keep an eye on our South Brockwells Farm Shop Facebook and Instagram page for regular updates. 

During the Christmas period, we stock delicious award-winning turkeys from Bridgers Farm in Hurstpierpoint. We also offer specialty cuts of lamb, venison or game prepared to order, not to forget our fabulous pigs in blankets and deer in duvets (venison chipolatas), delicious sausage meat and smoked game.  Our festive foods including a wide range of British cheeses and unusual foodie gifts to help you complete your present list.

Our traditional butcher’s shop specialises in delicious home reared pork, grass fed lamb, hogget and goat. We also sell local poultry and oven ready wild game.

We offer homegrown fruit and vegetables straight from the polytunnel and what we don't grow, we hand select from local growers.

We serve light farmhouse lunches each Wednesday to Friday. At the weekend talented local chef 

Angie Carter creates mouthwatering brunch dishes.
