SOUTH BROCKWELLS FARM

Established in 1976, our award winning family run, working farm is nestled in over 300 acres of stunning East Sussex countryside. Our seasonal farm shop is at the very heart of our farm business. We are passionate about providing our customers with the highest quality seasonal produce which is home reared and sourced locally.

In October 2022, we were absolutely thrilled to win the prestigious British Farming Awards - Diversification of the year award. Nominations for this award came from across the whole of Britain, and the competition was tough. In September 2022, we were proud to win both the Best Rural Business and overall Business of the Year at the Uckfield Business Awards - a wonderful achievement.

2023 has seen our successes continue - we are proud to announce that we were awarded the coveted Countryside Alliance Clarissa Dickson Wright Award at The House of Lords. The Clarissa Dickson Wright Award is one of the most esteemed honours presented by the Countryside Alliance, recognising individuals and businesses that embody the spirit of rural communities and contribute to their prosperity. We are delighted that the hard work of the South Brockwells Team has been celebrated in this way.

We also won the Countryside Alliance Award or Rural Oscars, for the South East in the Rural Enterprise category. The Awards are the Countryside Alliance’s annual celebration of British food & farming, enterprise and heritage through our small hard-working businesses.

Sharing our knowledge of farming, food production and the countryside we have created our farm-based Education Centre and Mobile Farm.  Our farm-based provision is aimed at helping young people to re-engage in education through working with animals and on the land, while our Mobile Farm will take our animals and farming knowledge out to the wider community.

We specialise in selling our own home reared lamb, pork and goat meat, locally sourced game and homegrown vegetables and our famous asparagus.

Working with schools, local authorities, community groups and families, our Farm School provides farm-based learning opportunities for children and young people across East Sussex.

Choose from a selection of events that will be sure to cater for the needs of you and your horse including Hunter Trials, Clear Round, Annual Summer Show, Clinics and Cross Country Course hire.
